2006 Review

The last day of 2006. In the last couple of days I've been thinking about all the stuff I've done this past year. Like everybody else this year has been full of good and not so good memories. It has been a year of growth for me. Some of my view points have completely changed since last year. Here are some good things I want to remember.

4. Participants that have passed away
5. My mom dancing at Lindy in the Park
6. Camping in Louisville
7. Marching in a couple parades with the Jitterbugs
8. Being the Lion in the Wizard of Oz day
9. The Jitterbugs coming and dancing at FP
10. Winning 3rd place in Omaha Corn Eating contest for the second year in a row
11. Watching my parents square dance again
12. South Dakota trip
13. People leaving food in my car
14. Quality walks with friends
15. Having a sleep over with my Bible study

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Christmas 2006

Well I'm a little late but here is my final Christmas post. I hope everybody had memorable time celebrating Jesus's birthday! This season seemed to catch up to me way too fast but it turned out great! On Christmas Eve I went to a beautiful candle light service and then to my parent's house to spend the night. On Christmas day my friends Onionboy, Venche, Hugh, Sherry, and Rob came over.
The next day some of us met at Onionboy's house to celebrate Robin and Tim's meeting anniversary.

My mom got some cake decorating items. She loves to decorate cakes so I know she'll have fun with those.

Venche and Onionboy decided to give me cheese. Why would they do that?

Oh Yeah!! Because I am the Cheese Queen!! Thank you to Onionboy for making me this shirt!!

Miss lumber jack Viv

I couldn't believe the trouble this tree caused us but we eventually got it up. It kept falling over. We tried to make it a little more secure in the stand by cutting of some branches. After that it still would not stand up so we cut off about a foot from the bottom. Finally Onionboy come over and told us the log was curved. He got the ingenious idea to put something underneath the stand to prop it up on one side. Problem Solved!!

Thankyou Onionboy!!

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree...
